What is a computer Lab?
Computer Lab Rules and Regulations
- Do not enter the computer lab without permission.
- Foreign Disks such as flash disk and memory cards are not allowed in the computer lab because they can transfer computer virus.
- Do not connect or disconnect any device without instructions.
- You are not allowed to open any program on a computer without instructions.
- Do not take anything you did not come with from the computer lab.
- Wet things such as umbrellas, clothes are not allowed in computer lab.
- Never delete any file or folder you do not understand from a computer.
- Changing computer settings eg setting passwors and changing wallpapers is strictly prohibited.
- Never eat or drink from the computer lab. This is because drinks may accidentally pour in the computer and cause short circuit and food particles may pour in the moving parts like keyboard and spoil them.
- Running and playing (Uneccessary movements) in the computer lab is not allowed, this is because one may accidentally knock down the computer.
- Immediately report any technical issues or suspicious activities to the teacher or lab Attendant.
- Use the internet only for school-related activities. Avoid visiting inappropriate websites or using social media.
- Do not download or install any software or applications on the computers without permission from the Lab attendant.
- Use all computers, keyboards, mice, and other equipment with care. Report any damages immediately to the Lab attendant.
- Always maintain cleanliness by properly disposing of trash and keeping your work area tidy.
- Always seek approval before downloading files or printing documents
- Wash and dry your Hands Before Using Computers to help maintain hygiene and protect equipment.
- Bags are not allowed in the computer lab to prevent theft of portable computer parts like mice and keyboards.
- Obey all instructions from teachers or lab supervisors and adhere to posted rules and guidelines to ensure a smooth and productive lab environment
