Important UCE 2026 Notes
- Orals and practicals before the main exams: 301/2 Latin, 309/2 German Speaking & Listening, 314/2 French Oral, 337/2 Arabic, 396/2 Chinese, 397/2 Ugandan Sign Language, 555/2 PE Performance, 621/2 Performing Arts, 662/2 Nutrition & Food Technology and 745/3 Technology & Design (Practical) will be done by visiting examiners before 8th October 2026.
- Continuous Assessment (CA) deadline: Schools must submit CA scores through the UNEB school portal by 30th September 2026. Learners without CA scores in a subject will not be graded in it.
- Special needs candidates get 45 extra minutes.
- In 840/2 ICT Practical, the 2h 30min includes printing time. No printing is allowed after time ends.

Important UACE 2026 Notes
- Orals and practicals before the main exams: P330/2 Oral French, P340/2 German Orals, P350/2 Latin, P370/2 Arabic, P372/2 Chinese, P620/2 Music Practical, P630/2 Clothing & Textiles, P640/2 Foods & Nutrition, P730/2 Woodwork and P740/2 Metalwork will be done by visiting examiners before 6th November 2026.
- Fine Art P615/1 and P615/2 papers are issued at 12:00 p.m. on the exam day so specimens can be set up.
- In S850/2 and S850/3 Subsidiary ICT, the 2h 30min includes printing time.
- UNEB advises candidates to take either a Science or an Arts combination.
UNEB Timetable 2026 Exam Rules Every Candidate Must Know
- Arrive at least 30 minutes early. If you come more than 15 minutes late, you won’t be allowed to sit that paper.
- No phones or electronic devices in or around the exam room.
- Use a pen, not a pencil. Answers written in pencil will not be marked. Pencils are only for diagrams and graphs.
- No sharing of calculators, mathematical tables, rulers or pens.
- Use the same name on every paper as on your registration form. Candidates with differing names won’t get results.
- Don’t tear or fold your answer booklet. Torn scripts won’t be marked.
- Answer only the number of questions asked. Extra answers are not marked.
- Malpractice in one paper cancels results for the whole exam.
